Basque MP Santiago López will visit the Deusto Hall of Residence

The Deusto Hall of Residence will welcome Basque MP Santiago López next Monday, 14 October, who will take part in a lunchtime discussion with the residents.

A native of Portugalete (Biscay), Santiago López holds a Law degree from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and worked as a civil servant in the Justice Administration before beginning his political career. He served as spokesperson for the PP in the Portugalete City Council and as president of Nuevas Generaciones in Biscay.

He is currently a member of the Basque Parliament, where he acts as spokesperson for Justice and has promoted initiatives related to the judicial system, mobility in Biscay, and youth participation in public life.

The lunchtime discussion will give the residents the opportunity to exchange views with him on his professional journey and the most relevant current issues.
