Lecture: “Small firms, big challenges: competition in high-impact cases”
This lecture will provide an in-depth look at how small law firms can tackle and succeed in highly complex legal cases with significant public impact. Andoni de la Llosa will share his experience at several prestigious law firms, as well as the creation and development of Redi Abogados, illustrating how specialisation and strategic planning enable smaller firms to compete with larger ones. The session will cover what cartels are and analyse notable cases handled by his firm, including the recent “Meta and Aylo” case, showing how these litigations unfold from the inside. In addition to exploring the technical aspects, attendees will gain practical insights for building a career in competition law and understanding the real challenges of the sector. The session will conclude with an extended Q&A, encouraging direct interaction and applied learning.
