Academic Ceremony of Saint Thomas Aquinas

Next Tuesday, 28 January, we will celebrate the feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The events will begin with a concelebrated Mass at 10:30 in the Gothic Chapel, followed by an academic ceremony at 12:00 in the Ceremonial Hall, according to the following programme:

• Opening: Agur Jaunak
• Presentation of awards: Mendieta and Lambarri Foundation Prizes, Honours Programme, Extraordinary End-of-Degree Awards (UD), and the Ignacio Ellacuría Special Award
• Tribute to professors and collaborators
• Investiture of graduates from the Faculty of Theology and the conferment of doctoral degrees by the University of Deusto
• Rector’s address
• Closing: Gaudeamus Igitur

Members of the academic staff wishing to attend in academic dress are kindly requested to complete this form  by 17January. Other members of the university community planning to attend may confirm their attendance here. Please note that this confirmation is for capacity management purposes only., as reserved seating is limited to participants in the ceremony, the academic staff in formal attire, and pre-designated groups.
