Opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year
The Rector of the University of Deusto has the honour to invite you to the solemn opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year, to be held on 25 September (Wednesday), at the Loiola Centrum on the San Sebastian campus.
Order of events
10:30. Mass of the Holy Spirit, presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of San Sebastian, D. Fernando Prado Ayuso.
12:00. Academic ceremony, according to the following programme:
- Report on the academic year 2023-2024.
- Inaugural lecture: ‘Rootedness: Lever of synergies between people, company and territory’, given by Prof. Dr. Cristina Iturrioz-Landart, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies – Deusto Business School.
- Speech by the Rector Magnificent.
- Speech by the Lehendakari of the Basque Government.
