Opening ceremony of 2025-2026 academic year

The Rector of the University of Deusto is pleased to invite you to the official opening of the 2025–2026 academic year. It will be held on Wednesday, 24 September, in the Ceremonial Hall on the Bilbao campus. Ceremony Programme 10:30. Mass of the Holy Spirit, presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Bilbao, Mr. Joseba Segura Etxezarraga. 12:00. Academic event, in accordance with the following schedule:

1. 2024-2025 Academic Year Report.
2. Opening Lecture: "Family: Bonds that Shape Lives", by Dr. Ana Martínez Pampliega, Professor of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
3. Address by the Regional Minister for Science, Universities and Innovation.
4. Rector's address.
