Opening ceremony of 2020-21 academic year

The University of Deusto will be holding the opening of 2019-2020 academic year on Wednesday, 23 September, in the Main Ceremonial Hall.

Ceremony times:

At 10:30, Holy Spirit Mass.

At 12:00,  Academic event, in accordance with the following schedule:

1. 2019-2020 academic year report.
2. Opening Lecture: “2030. Personas que transforman el mundo, sus ciudades, territorios y comunidades” by Professor Roberto San Salvador del Valle, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.
3. Rector’s address.
4. Address by the President of the Basque Government.

Due to the health crisis and capacity limits, attendance at the event will be reduced, both with regard to external authorities and for the university community itself; therefore, this year the academic staff will be represented by the Faculty Board members.
