Álava Chapter: The impact of Artificial Intelligence on organisations
Deusto Business Alumni, through its Álava Chapter, will be holding a new session in Vitoria-Gasteiz dedicated to one of the most decisive topics in today’s business world: the impact of Artificial Intelligence on organisations. The session will feature Enrique Onieva, Associate Professor at the University of Deusto in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis.
At a time when AI is transforming entire sectors, this session will provide a practical, organisational — not technical — perspective on how companies can adapt, innovate, and harness its potential.
During the meeting, key questions will be addressed, including:
How is AI transforming the current business environment?
What challenges does the technological debate pose for Europe, according to the latest reports?
What is the true return on AI for companies?
How will it affect junior roles in the labour market?
What steps should organisations take to implement AI effectively and sustainably?
What is the situation for businesses in the Basque Country?
An unmissable event for executives, professionals, and alumni interested in understanding how artificial intelligence is redefining business management and the future of work.
Refreshments will be served at the end of the session.

Meeting with Marc Gómez, CEO of Salto Wecosystem
On 17 November, we will be hosting a Meeting in San Sebastian with Marc Gómez, CEO of Salto Wecosystem, in collaboration with PwC. The session will feature a presentation entitled: “25 Years of Innovation: From access control to experience design”
In his talk, Marc will explain how 25 years ago Salto was founded in an apartment in Irún with a revolutionary idea: to transform the world of access control. Since then, every innovation has been driven by people, designing solutions that allow access to more spaces in a more sustainable and interconnected world. Geographical and portfolio expansion has enabled access and identity management to build bridges that connect experiences and improve life across all types of environments. We celebrate 25 years of strengthening partnerships and supporting our clients.
This will be followed by a debate moderated by Antón Azlor, President of Deusto Business Alumni.
