Discover Deusto Entrepreneurship and its services – Deusto Entrepreneurship Week 2025
As part of Deusto Entrepreneurship Week, and within the various events framed by Global Entrepreneurship Week, we will be hosting an activity showcasing Deusto Entrepreneurship and our courses and services. We will be joined by Monika Tubía, a growth and personal development mentor, who will provide guidance on any ideas you may have. If you are looking for inspiration to start a new project or explore a new career path, don’t miss this opportunity! You will also meet alumni from our creaction! programme, who will share their experiences and help you with registration.
We would like to give you a preview: creaction! brings together students from all Faculties to develop skills in innovation and entrepreneurship, which are transversal and complementary to any type of training. We encourage everyone to come and see it firsthand. The activity will take place on 21 November in the Memory Square, in our iconic EmprendeBOX, made up of two stacked containers, which has been a meeting point defining Deusto Entrepreneurship Week for several years.
Target audience:
- Entrepreneurs
- University community: students, academic staff and other employees
- External participants with an interest in the topic

Creativity and action with Soirée Mademoiselle – Deusto Entrepreneurship Week 2025
As part of Deusto Entrepreneurship Week, and within the various events framed by Global Entrepreneurship Week, we invite you to discover Soir.ee Mademoiselle Basque. This activity is led by Imedi Hassissen, an entrepreneur from DeustoKabi, our entrepreneurship hub at the Bilbao campus. Imedi’s project began in Belgium in 2017 with the SEN Soirée exhibition. Following this first exhibition, Soir.ee introduced an initiative combining inspiration, creativity, entrepreneurship, and female empowerment, which she named Soir.ee Mademoiselle Basque.
We will host an activity linked to her exhibition, where you can explore the entrepreneurial initiatives led by women that each artwork conceals. The session will take place in the Memory Square, in our iconic EmprendeBOX, made up of two installed containers, which has been a meeting point defining Deusto Emprende for several years.
Target audience:
- Entrepreneurs

During the session, participants will explore key aspects of recognising and managing their own and others’ emotions, improving active listening, and strengthening communication and negotiation skills from a human-centred and mindful perspective. From automated analysis to 24/7 intelligent assistants, there is now a wealth of tools capable of amplifying the strategic impact of the economic and financial area.
In this fully practical workshop, led by expert Carlos Polo, you will see AI in action: we will create a GPT (AI assistant) live, capable of handling real financial tasks, and we will assess how it enhances efficiency, analysis, and decision-making.
Date: 20 November 2025
Time: 17:00–18:30
Mode: In person or online (choose how to attend)*
Venue: Deusto Business School – Bilbao Campus (Room 34, 3rd floor)
At the end, you will also be able to enjoy a networking reception while sharing ideas and experiences with other finance professionals.

On Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 14:00, the Deusto Hall of Residence will host a lunchtime discussion with Fr. Iñigo Merelló, S.J., master of novices of the Society of Jesus, and Fernando Peredo, S.J., a first-year novice from Madrid, aged 24, with a background in Journalism and International Relations.
Fr. Iñigo Merelló will share his experience as a formator of young Jesuits and speak about the art of accompanying vocational processes in a time marked by haste, technology and the search for authenticity.
Fernando Peredo, who holds a degree in Journalism and International Relations, will explain how he discovered his vocation and what his first year in the Jesuit novitiate is like.
The aim of the event is to offer residents an open space for dialogue, where they can share questions about faith, life decisions and the meaning of university life from an Ignatian perspective.
