Anti-discrimination law is becoming increasingly important in our legal system. This emerging branch of law extends across multiple fields in the pursuit of equality, combating discrimination based on gender, ethnicity or race, disability, sexual orientation, religion, age, nationality, and more. It serves as a valuable tool for transforming society towards greater justice within a true social and democratic rule of law.
D. Fernando Rey Martínez is one of the leading academic authorities on these topics in Spain, Europe, and internationally.
Discussion led by:
Prof. Dr. Don Santiago Larrazabal Basañez, Chair of Constitutional Law at the University of Deusto.
*The event will begin with an initial presentation by Prof. Fernando Rey, followed by coffee in the Cloister, and will resume in the Barandiarán Room.
In collaboration with: Deusto Campus
