Farewell and grief through integrative psychotherapy
The great Adolph Meyer advised an entire generation of psychiatry students: “Do not probe where it does not hurt.” Farewells and grief are experiences that always hurt and are present in our daily lives far more than we are sometimes aware of.
We usually associate them with the death of loved ones, but grief also arises from the changes or absences in our lives: moving house, changing city, finishing university, ending a job, break-ups, separations, and so on.
In this workshop, which will take place on 28 November 2025 at the Bilbao Campus of the University of Deusto, Elsa del Pozo García (Internationally Certified Integrative Psychotherapist by the IIPA) will explore the integral concept of grief, its stages, what we can do at each stage, and how to support it from a relational integrative approach.
