Deusto hosts the 25th anniversary of the Loiolaetxea Elkartea Association

The San Sebastian campus of the University of Deusto will host the event “Building a Model of Inclusive Citizenship” (programme) on 7 November, marking the 25th anniversary of the Loiolaetxea Elkartea Association. The day will begin at 9:45 with the institutional opening by Marta Silvano, Director of Loiolaetxea, and María José Aranguren, Vice-Rector for the San Sebastian Campus and Institutional Relations at the University of Deusto.

At 10:15, the first discussion panel will take place: “Recorrido de la Compañía de Jesús en la construcción de un modelo de acogida comunitaria en nuestro contexto”, moderated by Elisa García, with participation from José Javier Pardo SJ, Karmele Villarroel, Dala Alaisa, and Claudia Fernández.

The second discussion panel will be held at 12:30: “Recorrido de la inclusión social y de la justicia penitenciaria para construir un modelo de ciudadanía inclusiva en nuestro contexto”, moderated by Ane Ferran, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Deusto, with contributions from Félix Arrieta, Iker Uson, Marian Moreno, and Txelu Platero. The event will end at 14:15 with final remarks by Javier Montes SJ, staff member at Loiolaetxea.
