“I am not a witch” exhibition #25N
It may sound like something from the Middle Ages, but this is the reality currently going on in Ghana, where thousands of women continue to be accused of witchcraft, persecuted, abused, and expelled from their homes. Once they have been accused, these women are expelled from their communities and therefore, they see themselves in the necessity of finding a shelter in the camps of Kapatinga, Gnani, Gambaga and Kukuo.
Visit the exhibition “I am not a witch”, organized by the students that form the delegation of Amnesty International in the university together with the Equality Unit, to learn about the testimonies of ten Ghanaian women who have lived through this terrible reality.
The exhibition will be available from November 12 to 26 in the cloister of the Paraninfo.
