Exhibition: “I Am Not a Witch” #25N
It may sound like something from the Middle Ages, yet it remains a reality in 2025: in Ghana, thousands of women continue to be accused of witchcraft, persecuted, subjected to violence, and expelled from their homes. Once accused, they are forced to leave their communities and seek refuge in camps such as Kapatinga, Gnani, Gambaga and Kukuo.
Visit the exhibition “I Am Not a Witch”, created by student volunteers from Amnesty International in collaboration with the University of Deusto’s Equality Unit, and learn about the testimonies of ten Ghanaian women who have lived through this terrible reality.
The exhibition will be on display in the Hall of the Larramendi Building on the San Sebastian Campus from 27 November to 11 December.
