Hackaton Open Data Day
This year, the Bilbao City Council will play a more prominent role as the event will be held at the Auzo Factory in Rekalde. The aim is to give a greater impetus to the city’s business and entrepreneurial ecosystem, focused on ideas for app development, open technologies, etc., which help to boost and enhance the use of Bilbao Open Data. To promote these objectives, the participation of the groups involved will be encouraged: developers, active citizens in the use of open data, companies focused on ideas and the practice of open data activities, etc. This activity has the significant participation of Bilbao Open Data Service, Bilbao Ekintza and other more active areas in data release such as Traffic and Transport, Participation, Works and Services…
Information will also be provided about the WeLive European project and the planned activities with the participation of the consortium local partners in the event: Bilbao City Council, Tecnalia, University of Deusto and Eurohelp. In addition, this year an open data ideas competition will be held.

- 11:15 – Presentation of WeLive project
- 11:45 – Introduction to open data reuse.
- 12:45 – The ideas competition starts.

- 14:30 –The ideas competition continues.
