3rd Conference to promote the Oñati Declaration 2019
On 23 October, the University of Deusto will be hosting the 3rd Conference to promote the Oñati Declaration 2019 titled “Diálogo social y concertación de políticas laborales como instrumentos de cambios”. The aim is to give continuity to the Congress “El futuro del trabajo que queremos: un debate global” which, to mark the one-hundredth anniversary of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and under the sponsorship of the Basque Government’s Labour and Employment Department, was held at the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati in April 2019.
A large number of renowned speakers will take part in this conference, such as Gema Tomás Martínez, Dean of the University of Deusto Law School, who will speak at the opening ceremony, and Noureddine Taboubi, Secretary General of the Tunisian General Union of Workers UGTT, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015, together with the employers’ organisation UTICA, the lawyers’ union and the Tunisian League for Human Rights.
