Conference: “Equal talent, equal opportunity”

The Spanish Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the University of Deusto, Iberdrola, and with the support of Olympic Solidarity from the International Olympic Committee, is organizing an event to promote equality in sports. Objective: to continue advancing gender equality in sports, fostering dialogue and raising awareness about the importance of equity at all levels of sport. This event represents a unique opportunity to move towards a more inclusive and fair sporting environment. Speakers:

• Isabel Rubio, dean of the Faculty of Education and Sports.
• Itsaso Leunda, professor at the University of Deusto and 2008 Spanish national road cycling champion.
•  Xabier Etxaniz, canoeist, Olympian in Barcelona 92 and Atlanta 96.
• Rocío Ybarra, field hockey athlete, Olympian in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, and Rio 2016.
• Laura López, Sports Sponsorship Team at Iberdrola.
• Manuel Parga, director of Marketing, Sustainability, and Human Resources at the Spanish Olympic Committee.
