Conference of the Deusto Chair of Registry Studies: “Artificial Intelligence and legal professions: a challenge in current practice”
The Deusto Chair of Registry Studies organizes on November 28th the session on “Artificial Intelligence and legal professions: a challenge in current practice” to address, from a practical and current perspective, the impact of digitization and artificial intelligence in the exercise of some legal professions.
Currently, the digitization of the Property, Mercantile and Movable Property Registries initiated on May 9, 2024, has given way to the greatest modernization in the history of the registry system, with the purpose of transforming it into a more accessible and efficient service for both citizens and companies, and giving full regulatory compliance with Law 11/2023, within the foreseen deadline. Ignacio González and María Rosario Jiménez will speak about this technological revolution and its impact on the work of property, mercantile and real estate registrars.
Other legal professions must also prepare, and are preparing, for the development of new ways of working and for the application and implementation of digital tools. In this sense, the lawyer Borja Llonin of the Bar Association of Bizkaia will reflect on the challenges of the practice of law as a result of the digital transformation that the world of law has undergone, from the development of artificial intelligence tools.
