Working session with the Global Network for Physical Education and Sport

On 20 January, the president of the Global Network for Physical Education and Sport , Dr Domingo Blázquez, will take part as a guest in a working session with various institutions from the Basque Autonomous Community (CAPV), aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration in training and research. One panel will address topics related to Physical Education, including the quality of Physical Education, assessment in Physical Education, the reality of the profession, teacher training in Physical Education, and gender and Physical Education. Participants will include representatives from the Basque Government, the Association of Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFyD), the Physical Education Teachers’ Association, other institutions, and faculty and researchers from the University of Deusto.

A second working panel will focus specifically on the state of School Sport in the Basque Country. The three provincial councils, which are responsible for School Sport, have been invited, along with university faculty and researchers with an interest in the topic.
