As every year, we invite you to join Legal Day at Deusto Law School. It is a great opportunity to enjoy a university experience and discover our degree programmes in an interactive and dynamic way.

Law and Economics in action: you decide the future
Ever wondered how law and economics connect while you play? In this workshop, you’ll step into the shoes of someone with municipal responsibilities and, together with your team, make decisions that affect an entire region. Using the game Consortium, you’ll explore, in a fun way, how laws and the economy influence people and communities. If you’re interested in a Law degree with an economics specialisation, this is your chance to experience it firsthand and see how your decisions can shape society.

Instagram, Twitch, Spotify, Netflix… and now ChatGPT: What role does law play?
Instagram is sued for violating users’ data protection rights… Can I legally challenge a ban on Twitch? How much does the author of a song earn on Spotify? Is it legal to use music, video games or movie clips freely on my YouTube channel? Could I be sued for a meme? Who owns content created by ChatGPT? Just as we were beginning to understand and regulate digital technology, Artificial Intelligence is changing the game… Discover the role of law in the digital era with Jon Artatxo, Professor of Law + Legal Tech.

When terror pushes you to the limit: what would you decide?
A plane with 164 passengers is hijacked by terrorists and heading towards a stadium with 70,000 people attending a football match. A military pilot decides to shoot down the plane before it reaches the stadium, sacrificing the 164 passengers. What would you do? If you want to explore this dilemma, don’t miss this workshop on the double degree in Law and Philosophy, Politics & Economics, led by Professor Davinia Gómez Sánchez.

You’ll debate your opinions, learn through the law, and defend a client in a trial that could mark a turning point in your university experience.
