European Union Olympics

The third edition of the European Olympiads seeks to promote electoral participation in the European Elections and to foster knowledge about the EU, as its decisions directly affect citizens, including Spanish youth. This event consists of writing critical essays on topics related to the European Union. Students will have to answer the question, “Why is it important to participate in the European elections?”
The competition will be held in two phases, the regional phase at the University of Deusto and the national phase at the University of Oviedo where the winner will be decided at the state level.
