Education overview in Latin America

As part of the activities of the UNESCO Chair, we invite you next Tuesday, March 18th, at 12:00 PM in the Churruca Room, to the talk by Iñaki Hernaiz (currently a visiting scholar at UD, and previously the Director of the OEI-Mercosur Office in Uruguay and Regional Coordinator of the Ibero-American Institute for Human Rights Education of the OEI, as well as a Master’s in Education), who will discuss the challenges faced by education in the region, focusing on dilemmas regarding inclusive education and the role of the state in education. Additionally, there will be a reflection on whether we are heading toward SDG 4 of the 2030 Agenda or if education continues to be a source of inequalities.
