Customise and make your own plakene lamp

In this workshop, students will learn the use of laser cutting technology to be applied to design projects, in this case, manufacturing customised polypropylene (plakene) lamps. We will use this material, which not only gives an aesthetically pleasing result, but also allows the partial passage of light and offers us the possibility of working with paper folding inspired in “paper engineering”. The aim of this workshop is to promote students’ technological skills so that they can take advantage of the benefits and apply them to various creative projects.
