Presentación de la 16ª edición de la FIRST LEGO League Euskadi en su sede de Donostia
On Wednesday, February 19, the 16th edition of the FIRST LEGO League Euskadi will be presented at a press conference at its headquarters in Donostia. This educational program, a benchmark in the promotion of scientific and technological vocations among students between 6 and 16 years old, will host on February 22 the finals of the championship in Euskadi simultaneously at its headquarters in Bilbao, Donostia, Mondragon and Vitoria-Gasteiz with the participation of 170 school teams. Co-organized by the Basque Innovation Agency, Innobasque; the University of Deusto, Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU), it also has the support of the Department of Education of the Basque Government, the three provincial councils and the city councils of Bilbao, Donostia and Mondragon.
The University of Deusto is co-organizer of the final of the FIRST LEGO League Euskadi in San Sebastian for the second time (it is also in Bilbao since 2020) and has joined Fomento de San Sebastian as main sponsor, BRTA, Multiverse Computing, CAF and Salto Wecosystem also as sponsors and Doplay, Alzola, CIMASUB and Ausolan as collaborators for this XVI edition at the Donostia headquarters.
A press conference will be held to inform about the planned activities, participants and characteristics of the tournament to be held on February 22nd at the San Sebastian campus of the University of Deusto.

- Eneko Goia, Mayor of Donostia - San Sebastian.
- Xabier Riezu, Vice Rector of the San Sebastian campus and Language Policy of the University of Deusto.
- Ane Oyarbide, second deputy mayor and councilor for Equality, Economy and Local Employment of the City Council of San Sebastian.
- A representation of school teams participating in the tournament.
