Natural Language Processing in the financial industry: Do machines understand us?

During the last few years, a large number of companies have shown an increasing interest in the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. In this talk, we will summarise some of the main advances associated with the application of artificial intelligence algorithms in NLP at Banco Santander, focusing on two of the most frequently used cases: Sentiment Analysis and Dynamic Topic Modeling.
