Deusto Entrepreneurship Week. “Our Impact in Society”
On Thursday, 17 November, on the occasion of the Deusto Entreneurship Week and as part of the events held within the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a seminar will be held for 4th year students on the Modern Languages and Management and Tourism degrees of Professor Garazi Azanza by María Lambarri, Director of the Unit for Relations with Economic and Social Actors.
The session will focus on the impact we have on society. This will be done by looking at the importance of the context we live in and why measuring social impact plays a key role. She will also explain how fast technology has evolved and will show examples of jobs that have been replaced by digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, the challenges of demographic trends around the world will be identified, taking into account different groups of people and countries. Environmental and economic changes will also be highlighted and the word “impact” will be analysed.
The day will end with a short introduction to the theory of change and tools used around the world to measure impact.
