Solemn ceremony for the conferral of stoles at Deusto Hall of Residence
On Saturday, 18 April, Deusto Hall of Residence will hold the solemn ceremony for the conferral of stoles to its senior residents, in recognition of their achievements and commitment during their time at the Hall.
The Stole is a distinction recognising students’ excellent academic performance as well as their exemplary participation in the life and community of the Hall. This ceremony marks the close of a stage defined by effort, responsibility, and integration into the university community.
The awardees will be accompanied by their families and friends in a ceremony presided over by the Rector of the University of Deusto, Juan José Etxeberria, the institution’s highest academic authority.
The programme for the day is as follows:
- 11:00 – Mass in the Gothic Chapel of the University of Deusto
- 12:00 – Academic ceremony for the conferral of stoles in the University’s Ceremonial Hall
- 13:30 – Lunch in the Cloister
The ceremony is part of the University’s academic tradition and represents one of the most significant moments of the academic year at the Hall, reaffirming the values of excellence, collaboration, and community life that define Deusto Hall of Residence.
