People from all fields of study are welcome to take part in the discussion. The only requirement for participation is to have previously read the text and selected an idea, sentence or paragraph to share.
In the next discussion, we will comment on the fourth and last part of the book “Elogio de la imperfección”, by Rita-Levi Montalcini. The author, winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1986, was a prestigious Italian scientist who, together with Stanley Cohen, identified the protein that stimulates the growth of nerve fibres.
Rita-Levi advocated perfection in personal and academic life. This book is the result of the pleasure she took in both activities and shows us that imperfection is what is best suited to human nature.
