University Dialogic Gathering “Con el libro en la mano”

The University Dialogic Gathering entitled “Con el libro en la mano” is an interdisciplinary seminar where we share and discuss classical works from various fields of knowledge. Discussing readings from many different perspectives, dialogic gatherings offer a variety of interpretations based on equalitarian dialogue.

The Education research team invites you to take part in this monthly gathering.

During the first session, we will discuss the first section of Kandel’s book “In Search of Memory” (chapters 1, 2 and 3).

“Memory has always fascinated me. Think of it. You can recall at will your first day in high school, your first date, your first love. In doing so you are not only recalling the event, You are also experiencing the atmosphere in which it occurred – the sights, sounds, and smells, the social setting…”. (Kandel, 2007, Chapter 1).
