Webinar: Key aspects for successful online teaching

Although it is now more popular than ever, online teaching has a long-standing tradition and much research has been done on it in recent years. In this webinar, we will try to summarise those factors that have a greater impact on the quality of online teaching at the university level. We will be dealing with questions related to both the design of teaching and its implementation, trying to answer questions such as: what should I bear in mind when designing online learning activities? Do active methodologies work in this model? Is it better to design group or individual activities? Are videos useful? What about forums? Does the quality of contents or lecturers’ interaction have a greater impact? What do students perceive as most relevant? Does it coincide with what contributes most to their learning?

We invite you to participate in the webinar series on online teaching organised by the Deusto Online Unit at the University of Deusto. They are mainly designed for lecturers who are interested in continuing to learn about online teaching and prepare for these new ways of doing, teaching, learning, collaborating, etc. in digital environments.
