Women’s Footbal Week: Women and Sport Day

Deusto University joins the celebration of the Women's Football Week, a great event on women's soccer to be held in Bilbao from March 24 to 30. It includes activities of all kinds and an ambassador such as the current World Cup and Champions League champion Irene Paredes. The event, which occupies several cultural and sporting venues in the city (including the San Mamés stadium), aims to make women's soccer visible and promote its role as a driving force to promote inclusion, equality and the presence of women in leadership positions. Within this framework, the University is hosting the Women and Sport Day to meet leading figures in various sports and learn from their experiences: women with Olympic medals in wrestling, Paralympic triathlon, rugby, field hockey....
