XXV Family Business Conference

25th Family Business Conference Next April 3rd, we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Family Business Conference. From the Antonio Aranzabal Foundation and Deusto Business School-DBS (University of Deusto), we would be delighted to have you join us for this special commemoration. This conference marks the culmination of the "Family Business Chair," which both institutions have supported for 25 years to promote the development of entrepreneurs who will drive value creation in the future. Over this period, more than 300 entrepreneurs and 400 students have received specialized training. The Chair's program, in addition to providing specific training for students and entrepreneurs, fosters cooperation between students and family businesses, creating highly beneficial synergies. It also encourages research and support for family businesses and recognizes the efforts of entrepreneurs and business families. To publicly acknowledge the contributions of our business families, we annually present the "Premio Antonio Aranzabal." The event will conclude with the award ceremony, where representatives from three prestigious family businesses—recognized for their ability to combine competitiveness and strong roots—will participate. 18:15 · 19:00: Premio Antonio Aranzabal Ceremony Honoring Jesús Guibert Azcue (Marcial Ucín) Institutional Closing Premio Antonio Aranzabal The Premio Antonio Aranzabal for Entrepreneurial Leadership recognizes the outstanding career achievements of family businesses. Established in 2002 by Antonio Aranzabal, this award has honored 22 regional business families for their dedication and commitment. This year, we will posthumously honor the professional and personal legacy of Jesús Guibert Azcue, manager of Grupo Marcial Ucín. Under his leadership, the company became one of the most technologically advanced firms in the Basque Country and a benchmark in the steel industry. His family will accept the award on his behalf.
