Zhadyra Makhmetova visiting researcher of Tuning Academy presents: “Conceptualization of Assessment among Pre-service Teachers in Kazakhstan”

Zhadyra Makhmetova is Doctoral Candidate and Research Assistant at Graduate School of Education, Nazarbayev University, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Visiting Researcher at Deusto International Tuning Academy (Short-Term Visits Scholarship Scheme). Zhadyra will present a research project titled: “Conceptualization of Assessment among Pre-service Teachers in Kazakhstan” her research aims to contribute to a branch of theories in the teacher education field. Employing the sequential exploratory mixed methods design and holistic approach to answer the questions how pre-service teachers develop their assessment understanding and what are their understanding.
