Seminar: Understanding the Environmental and Socio-Economic Impacts of Conservation Funding: Evidence from the Peruvian Amazon
The Vice-Rectorate for Research and International Relations at the University of Deusto announces the launch of the "Deusto Research Challenges Seminars", an initiative aimed at promoting academic meetings among researchers within our university.
The event will follow a lunch seminar format. After the speaker's presentation, there will be time for idea exchange and open discussion.
These seminars are intended for PI and academic staff (PDI) at the University. Attendance will require prior registration upon receiving the corresponding invitation.
"Deusto Research Challenges Seminars" will be inaugurated with a presentation by Daniel C. Miller, Coyle Mission Collegiate Associate Professor at the Keough School of Global Affairs, University of Notre Dame.
His presentation, titled "Understanding the Environmental and Socio-Economic Impacts of Conservation Funding: Evidence from the Peruvian Amazon", will address the thematic areas of Ecological Transition and Plural and Inclusive Democracies.
The talk will be delivered in English, although interaction with the audience may take place in either English or Spanish.
