You can enjoy a two-hour session (10:00-12:00h) at the Puelaberri center in Usurbil. The price is 15€ and it is necessary to make the payment before registering. The price includes the Paintball activity, private bus for round trip, divers and necessary material, and showers.
The departure will be from San Sebastian (Sancho el Sabio, 28) at 9:30 am. To participate, it is necessary to fill out this form before October 20 at 13h.

Karting
You will be able to enjoy 20 minutes of racing with 200cc karts in the Vilariño de Olaberria circuit. The price is 15€ and it is necessary to make the payment before registering.
The price includes the karting activity, private bus to and from the circuit, and the necessary material. In addition, sports equipment will be awarded to the best classified and there will be a raffle for the rest of the participants.

La conferencia “LEADERS IN TECH” sobre tecnología e innovación vuelve con su 3ª edición el próximo 4 de noviembre a Bilbao, de la mano gigantes tecnológicas y organizada por INNOLAB Bilbao.
Empresas referentes como Airbus, Microsoft, Google o Red Hat compartirán las tendencias presentes y futuras del mundo tecnológico en la emblemática Torre Iberdrola de Bilbao.

II Jornadas Jurídicas por la Palabra
Las Jornadas Jurídicas por la Palabra son fruto de la colaboración entre la Asociación Profesional para la Magistratura, la Fundación para la Magistratura, el Ilustre Colegio de Abogacía de Bizkaia y la Universidad de Deusto. Tienen una finalidad formativa en temas de máxima actualidad.
El alto nivel de las ponencias, contraponencias y rol de los moderadores hacen de este encuentro, del que este año tendrá lugar la segunda edición uno de los eventos jurídicos más importantes de todo el Estado.
El programa de este año contará con aquellos asuntos jurídicos que en estos momentos resultan más controvertidos y se abordará su análisis de la mano de los magistrados y profesionales ejercientes especialistas en la materia.
Se abordarán temas como: La responsabilidad patrimonial en el ámbito sanitario; la Justicia europea (tribunales europeos) y su conexión con los tribunales superiores de la UE; los casos de Madrid Central e Isla de Valdecañas, la espinosa cuestión de la dispensa a declarar de parientes; y temas relacionados con la función pública y el derecho fundamental a la buena administración.
El acto será inaugurado por D. Santiago Muñoz Machado, Director de la Real Academia Española y Presidente de la Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española.
Así mismo la Asociación del Letrados y Letradas del Gobierno Vasco participan en las jornadas.

On the 28th and 29th of September 2022, the REACH project will hold an event at the University of Deusto in which 10 startups classified in round 2, from different European countries, will compete in Bilbao to see which of them will make it through to the last phase of the incubator organised within the framework of the project.
REACH is a project funded by the European Commission, within the framework of Horizon 2020, whose objective is to consolidate companies that work with massive amounts of data (Big Data). The use of Big Data is a strategic asset for companies and has a huge potential for transformation. In this sense, REACH offers the most innovative startups the opportunity to solve real problems associated with the data of companies in different European countries, such as: optimising energy consumption in buildings, improving tourism, optimising resources for communication companies, etc. One of the key objectives of the project is to work towards a greater European relevance in the big data market, encouraging the creation of a European Data Economy through the implementation of the Data Value Chain concept.
The public event will start on 29th of September 2022 at 9:00 with the opening ceremony in Deusto Auditorium where the project coordinator, Reda Nouacer (CEA, the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission), will present the project’s objective, while Diego López-de-Ipiña, as coordinator of the incubation process, will indicate the dynamics of the presentation of solutions (MVPs) in the form of pitches and their evaluation. Afterwards, the startups will compete in a “pitch” in which they will present their projects and a jury will evaluate their soundness from a business point of view. On the afternoon of the same day (15:00), the 5 winners will be announced and will move on to the final phase of the incubator, EVOLVE.

Deusto Business School is pleased to invite you to the first roundtable discussion of the 2022-2023 academic year, framed within the public-private meeting series of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Leadership Programme (PLEI).
This initiative aims to highlight the value of open innovation within the current corporate world from two perspectives, that of a large corporation and that of a public manager.
In this first meeting, we will have the participation of our alumni Ana Uruñuela, Director of Corporate Development and Innovation at Ilunion and Pedro Corbalán, Works and Infrastructure Management at M.P., S.A. (a public company of the Community of Madrid).

Deusto Entrepreneurship Talks are back again, an event in which we will be able to talk and learn about the concept of social impact in a fun and relaxed way. Three Innogune startups with a strong social focus will share specific examples of how we can have an impact on the lives and development of the people around us through their projects.
Zuekinn, Batbitahiru and Maite Mateo will discuss the following question:
What is people-centred innovation?
To talk about how the projects we develop have an impact on our environment, we will be joined by two people with extensive knowledge of people-centred innovation and impact measurement, namely Maria Lambarri, Project Coordinator at Deusto Social Lab and Garbiñe Henry Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Deusto.
After the presentation and roundtable, participants will be commenting on social impact; the aim, as usual, is to share a good time and learn something new and thought-provoking.

Next Saturday September 17 you can enjoy a day of surfing initiation by the hand of Pukas on the beach Zurriola.
The price of the activity is 15 € and this price includes the necessary material for the surf class, 1 hour and a half of course and use of changing rooms and showers. The schedule will be from 9:30 to 11h.

The annual organization fair will be held on September 20. Through this fair, students interested in volunteering at the university will be able to learn about the organizations in which they can participate.
