A welcome session for new students on the degrees taught at the Faculty of Health Sciences on the Bilbao and San Sebastian campuses will be held on Wednesday, 7 September.

During this day, students will receive information about important aspects related to their studies and university life.

WELCOME SESSIONS San Sebastian campus: 9:30-10:30: Nursing - Room 58 Larramendi Building. 9:30 -10:30: Physiotherapy (Basque) and Physiotherapy + Physical Activity and Sports Sciences - Foro Room. 15:00-16:30: Physiotherapy (Spanish) - Room 52 Larramendi Building. Bilbao campus: 10:30-11:30: Nursing - Auditorium. 10:00-12:00: Medicine - Ceremonial Hall. 12.00-13.00: Psychology - Auditorium.

The Faculty of Social and Human Sciences will welcome the  new students at the campus in Bilbao on 5th and 7th September:   5th September   At 12:00, in room A-102, a welcome session will be held for the new students of the degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economy and the degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economy + International Trade Skills.   7th September   At 12:00, in the Garate Room , together with the Faculty of Education and Sport, a welcome session will be held for the new students of the double degree in Social Education + Social Work.   At 15:30, at the Paraninfo, a welcome session will be held for the new students of the degrees in:  
  • Basque Language and Culture
  • Double degree in Basque Language and Culture + Modern Languages: English studies.
  • Modern Languages
  • Modern Languages and Management
  • Modern Languages and Management + International Trade Skills
  • International Relations
  • Social Work
  • Tourism
  • Tourism + International Trade Skills
  At 16:30, in the Garate Room, together with the Faculty of Law, the new students of the double degree in International Relations + Law will be welcomed.    In these sessions the new students will be given the necessary information and guidance for their studies.

On 7 and 8 of September, a welcome session will be held for new students on the degree programmes taught at Deusto Business School in San Sebastian: Business Management, BMA+Digital Business Skills, BMA+International Management Skills, BMA+Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Management+Law and Business Management and Computer Engineering. Throughout this session, students will receive information some important aspects related to their studies and university life.

Maite Santiago Garabieta, del programa de doctorado de Educación, defenderá su tesis doctoral titulada: "A successful linguistic immersion pathway in L2  (Basque) through Dialogic Literary Gatherings in secondary education", dirigida por Lourdes Villardón Gallego y Rocío García Carrión. Con esta tesis, la doctorando opta a la mención de Doctorado Internacional.
