Closing Ceremony of the “Leyendo en clave jurídica” Programme

On Wednesday, 25 March, the third reading series of the “Leyendo en clave jurídica” programme organised by the Law School will take place. On this occasion, as part of the third reading series and the closing day, we have the privilege of welcoming Amets Arzallus, author of Hermanito (Miñán).

Hermanito is a written chronicle based on an oral memory; a chronicle that seeks to take us beyond the artificial boundaries we establish between people. It tells the story of someone forced to leave their homeland and roots in search of the person they loved most.

Together with the author, through the dialogue he will have with Professor Nere Jone Intxaustegi, we will reflect on the unique creative process of Hermanito (Miñán), the impact of migration policies, and the tension between border security and control versus respect for human dignity.

Amets Arzallus

Amets is a journalist, writer, and one of the most acclaimed bertsolaris. Son of the bertsolari Jexux Arzallus, he began very young in bertsolarismo. He regularly collaborates with media such as Euskadi Irratia and Argi.
