#DISRUPTIVE lecture series with Carla Royo-Villanova, President of Carla Bulgaria Roses Beauty
The dictionary defines disruptive as a term that comes from physics and refers to that which causes a sharp break. In the new economy, the innovations by entrepreneurs that generate most added value are defined as disruptive. Last century, economist Schumpeter named the activities carried out by these entrepreneurs as creative destruction. The visibility that entrepreneurs have ultimately achieved has led to identify only disruptive innovations with ICTs.
In order to break with this misconception, Deusto Business School has implemented the #Disruptive lecture series, which aims to share ground-breaking experiences in traditional industries such as leisure, tourism, agriculture, trade or health care.

This time, our guest will be Carla Royo-Villanova, President of Carla Bulgaria Roses Beauty. She has been creator, founder, partner and President of Carla Bulgaria Roses Beauty since 2003. She has extensive professional experience in sectors such as Fashion, Beauty and Decoration, and has held several executive positions in companies like Pedro del Hierro, Trash and Soul, K.A. Internacional, C+C and Fraganzia.com. She collaborates regularly in several magazines and publications and other audiovisual media. She has written numerous articles and books on topics related to fashion, beauty, and protocol, on which she has also lectured. BA in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she completed her studies in Modern Art at Christie´s (London).
