Deusto Business Alumni will be holding a business lunch with Agustín Markaide, Chairman of Eroski at the Ercilla Hotel, on Thursday, 11 June. A talk will be given on “La distribución alimentaria hoy día. Una mirada desde Eroski”. In collaboration with EY. Markaide will address how changes in consumer behaviour and the fierce competition being experienced by the food sector affect Eroski’s current situation.
Eroski Group, as part of Mondragon Corporation, is developing a specific response for current consumers with a focus on the “Contigo” strategy. This scheme provides for the specific lines of action and messages to focus the challenges posed by today’s situation from a financial and commercial perspective, and that of employees and customers of Eroski Group.
