Concert to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the University of Deusto

This year 2016, the University of Deusto celebrates its 130th anniversary. This anniversary is also shared by other two institutions in Bilbao founded in 1886: the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce and Bilbao Choral Society.

To commemorate this event, as was done on their 125th anniversary five years ago, the three institutions will be holding a commemorative concert.  The concert will be held on 22 September at 20:00 at the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall, and it will be performed by the Bilbao Choral Society, together with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Erik Nielsen, which will be performing a programme created specifically to celebrate this event.
