The President of Deusto Business Alumni invites you to participate in the Symposium that will be held with the participation of Josu Jon Imaz, CEO of Repsol.

This event, organised by Deusto Business Alumni in collaboration with Deloitte, will be held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre on Monday 19 October.

The panel will be made up of Agustín Garmendia, President of Deusto Business Alumni, Pablo Múgica, Managing Partner of Deloitte Zona Norte, and Alvaro de la Rica, Dean of Deusto Business School, who will moderate the debate.

The lecture, entitled: Una Transición Energética: Competitiva, Justa y Basada en Capacidades Tecnológicas e Industriales, will address the challenge that climate change and the transformation needed to combat it pose for the energy sector and society at large. The magnitude of this challenge makes it necessary to bring together all available technologies, and the need to address this transformation based on the principle of technological neutrality. The different technological routes available will also be analysed, the development of which is envisaged in the coming years, as well as Repsol’s climate roadmap.

Finally, the need for this energy transition to be based on our technological and industrial capacities is stressed, considering the importance of industry for economic, social, employment and innovation development in our country.
