Lecture by José Juan Ruiz, Chief Economist of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
Deusto Business Alumni association invites you to attend a lecture entitled “El Laberinto, Cómo América Latina y el Caribe puede navegar la economía global” by José Juan Ruíz, Chief Economist of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which will be held in Madrid. In his lecture, Ruiz will help us to understand the existing opportunities and risks in this area of the world today, and the challenges it is facing to overcome the difficulties in a post-crisis stage of the most important western economies. The macro perspective he brings from his privileged position at IDB allows him to provide a particularly sensitive and forward-looking analysis of those key aspects that make it possible to successfully overcome constrains in the near future, thanks to the strengths achieved by this region in the last few years. The conclusions reached make a full guide of action for economic leaders in this group of countries. Following his talk, light refreshment will be served, and we will have the opportunity to share our experiences and receive your suggestions to continue improving.
