Lecture by Ramón Flecha: Tertulias Literarias Dialógicas: un canto a la literatura, la libertad y la igualdad
Dialogic literary gatherings have been considered (at universities like Harvard or Cambridge and in countries like China or Brazil) the most surprising, deepest and most creative way of making all individuals, of any type and condition, enjoy the best literary creations in humanity. Erik Olin Wright, former Chairman of the American Sociological Association said that they evidenced that Bourdieu was wrong to believe that cultural preferences depended on what he called “cultural capital”. Ramón Flecha, who created this cultural activity, will tell us the keys to this transformation.
Next Thursday, 22 October, a lecture on “Tertulias Literarias Dialógicas: un canto a la literatura, la libertad y la igualdad”, will be given by Ramón Flecha Catedrático from the University of Barcelona and Director of IMPACT-EV (FP7) from 18:00 to 20:00.
This event will be presented by Josu Solabarrieta, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education.
