SALTO Systems lecture: Sales team management in international environments

Lecture organised on the occasion of the presentation of the 2016 edition of the PDC- Expert Programme in Sales Management. Marketing, Sales and Digital. Speakers include Marc Handels (Chief Marketing & Sales Officer) and Ion Murga (Marketing Manager for USA, Canada and Mexico markets and CRM implementation in the organisation). SALTO will present its new approach, which differs from the traditional one, to sales team management. This includes the tools used to share information, the collaborative tools within the organisation and the platforms used to have a global view in real time, among others.

Marc Handels is Founding Partner and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at SALTO System since its inception in 2001. He was formerly Marketing Director and Business Development Director at several companies such as TESA, Iparlat, Williams PLC and Assa Abloy. He has combined his professional practice with teaching at several universities and Business Schools like Deusto and other institutions. He is a graduate in International Business from Haarlem Business School in Holland and holds a Master’s in Business Innovation (MBI) from Deusto Business School.

Ion Murga joined SALTO in March 2010 as Marketing Manager for USA, Canada and Mexico markets and acts as a liaison between these markets and SALTO HQ in the marketing, sales and product areas. During the past 18 months, he has been engaged in the implementation of a CRM system in the organisation, and has managed the supervision and support to the north-American team. He is a graduate in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and specialises in Marketing. He also holds an MA in Marketing from this same University.
