Deustalks with Luis Socias, Head of the European Projects Office at CEOE

Deusto Business Alumni invites you to participate in Deustalks, which will be held on Thursday 21 January in Madrid, with Luis Socías Uribe, Head of the European Projects Office at the CEOE (Conferation of Employers and Industries of Spain). He will give a talk entitled: La negociación y el objetivo de los fondos europeos: visión europea y aplicación en España.

The European Union has launched the largest deployment of resources ever, with the aim of providing an exceptional response to the health, social and economic crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, almost 2 billion euros, in which the European Recovery Plan (Next Generation EU) plays a key role.

The negotiations in the European Union (frugal countries, Poland and Hungary, etc.), as well as the application of the funds in Spain, within the current political situation, are focusing the media and economic interest of all sectors. In this session, we will go into the details of these negotiation processes, with the most relevant moments at European and national level, and we will deal with the potential that these funds can have for companies.
