Meeting – The sustainable challenge: together towards a greener future
Sustainability and green finance are two closely related concepts that play a key role in building a more balanced and environmentally friendly future. Governments, businesses and individuals are recognising the need to adopt more sustainable practices and to finance projects that promote the transition to a low-carbon, more resilient economy.
In this regard, it should be noted that green finance is not only limited to the public sector or large investors. Citizens can also contribute through their consumption and investment decisions, supporting sustainable businesses and avoiding those that do not meet environmental and social criteria. Furthermore, education and awareness-raising play a key role in promoting sustainability and green finance by helping to create a culture of responsibility and respect for the environment.
