Forum on Sustainable Development Goals “Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization”

The University of Deusto and the United Nations Local2030 will held the 2024 Forum on Sustainable Development Goals “Connecting Academic Research and Policy Solutions for SDG Localization”, where representatives of the United Nations and various territorial administrations, as well as leading international researchers and academics, will address substantive aspects of the 2030 Agenda: a) the challenges of localizing the global SDG agenda; b) how to strengthen the university’s role in shaping public policy.

In line with the six key transitions identified by the United Nations, the forum will be structured around four main panels: Quality Education; Inequality and Social Protection; Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence; and Climate Action with a focus on the transition of energy and food systems.

Simultaneous translation from English to Spanish will be provided.
