This lecture will address innovation in general and the current key factors of digital transformation in tourism and, specifically, the digital content area, with a particular focus on the Smartvel case. It will also include a summary of the lessons learnt in the entrepreneurship phase by a manager who thought he knew a lot about management.

Iñigo Valenzuela holds a degree in Business Administration and is an Insurance Actuary from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has pursued other courses such as IESE’s General Management Programme and courses at LSE and IMD. He is a former self-employed manager who, after having worked for several multinationals, especially in the tourism sector (Viajes Marsans, HRG, CWT, Tinsa), decided to launch his own business based on technology and tourism five years ago.
