MASTERCLASS: La Biotecnología en el espacio
Sara García Alonso is a molecular biologist and astronaut, in reserve, as in November 2022 she was selected as a reserve member of the European Space Agency, becoming the first Spanish woman to do so.
In this Master Class we will delve into a field that combines two of the most innovative and promising areas of modern science: biotechnology and space exploration.
This event aims to disseminate the advances and applications of biotechnology in the field of space, bringing cutting-edge knowledge to both undergraduate students in biomedical engineering and the rest of engineering or general public interested in this exciting topic. It will be a day full of learning and inspiration, where we will explore together how biotechnology is revolutionising the capabilities of human adaptation to space.
