Roundtable “Dilemmas of humanitarian action in conflicts and its consequences on populations”.
Participants include: Joana Abrisketa, (Lecturer in Public International Law at the University of Deusto), Cristina Churruca (Director of the NOHA Master’s at the University of Deusto) and Nuria González (a humanitarian worker in Doctors Without Borders). The moderator will be Cristina de la Cruz (Ethics Lecturer at the University of Deusto).
The speakers will address the dilemmas that humanitarian action poses for interventions in contexts of violence and whose direct victim is the civilian population that will suffer its consequences.
This roundtable is part of the activities ‘Seguir con vida’ organised by Doctors without Borders in Bilbao from 21 September to 5 October.
