Mesa redonda: “Usos sociales del tiempo para una Transición Justa”

On Friday, September 20th, the Tokiski Room on the San Sebastián campus of the University of Deusto will host the round table: “Social Uses of Time for a Just Transition,” where discussions will revolve around managing the uses of time with healthier and more equitable considerations that facilitate work-life balance and shared responsibility in professional, family, personal, and social life.

The round table is part of a research project called “TRANSITAS,” funded by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and led by the Center for Applied Ethics of the University of Deusto. Through this project, a Transition Laboratory has been initiated, creating a space for reflection, dialogue, and action for companies in Gipuzkoa, focused on building a Just Transition (JT) by integrating elements such as care, interdependence, and intergenerationality, as well as employability and economic factors.

The following speakers will participate:

Itxasne Martínez Ojinaga, Coordinator of the DenBBora Sarea Network. Degree in Sociology, University Specialist in Development and International Cooperation.

Jon Bernat Zubiri, Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country. Ph.D. in Economics from the Université de Grenoble and a Master’s in “Politiques Économiques et Sociales.”

Mari Luz de la Cal, Full Professor at the University of the Basque Country. Ph.D. in Economics.

Miguel de Andrés Frías, General Director of Hortelanos. Marketing Manager at Corowai and Professor of Creativity and Digital Communication at various business schools, universities, and companies.
